The build

A pet scale is a kitchen scale with a tray the animal actually stands on

The platform is a raised oval tray, 300×160 mm, with a lip around the edge. Cats feel that edge under their paws instead of walking off the side, and a small dog cannot plant a paw on the floor to shift the reading. Under the tray sits the same low-profile 170×190×28 mm body as our MM-9003A fruit scale, so the two models share housings and spare parts.

The tray holds a 15 kg dog without overhang, so the load sits over the sensors instead of the edge.

Pick the board by the animals you actually weigh. The 0.1 g division on the two small boards picks up kitten growth week to week; 1 g on the two large boards is enough for adult dogs and vet-style check-ups.

Pet scale, in short

Is this the same scale as your fruit scale?

Same body, same board, same spare parts — the difference is the tray. MM-9003A takes a flat 160×300 mm tray for produce; MM-9003B takes the raised oval tray for animals. Stocking both means one set of spares covers two SKUs.

Does the tray come off for cleaning?

The tray lifts off and rinses under the tap. Hand-wash is what we recommend — the module underneath is splash-resistant, not submersible.

What is the smallest order?

500 pcs with your logo on the body and color box, 10–15 days after artwork approval. A pre-production sample takes 5–7 days.

Which board should I stock first?

The 5 kg / 0.1 g board moves fastest with pet shops and groomers. Add the 15 kg / 1 g board if you sell to vets, breeders or boarding kennels.
